Such a pleasure to experience the re-enactment back in full swing after 2 years of non-event due to the pandemic. Three days of full participation by the village people throwing themselves into creating marvellous costumes and all keeping stony faces whilst involved in the various scenarios. The horse element was admirable, especially on the battlefield with cannons firing constantly and with great resonance. The energy and skill of the horsemen was amazing considering that six represented hundreds at the actual battle. Wonderful to see a very enthusiastic audience turn out to see this beautifully presented pageant.
